Divine Spark


The Judeo-Christian belief is that humans were created in the image of God, that is, each of us has a divine spark within us. God's Divine transcendence is revealed in Christ, and it is revealed as reconciliation. Bonhoeffer taught that we can approach the divine Logos only through faithful attentiveness. All of these passages are not talking about Jesus who died, but in Christ Jesus who is alive in each one of us individually, in us as a community in the Bible because it is the living Word of God.
